Day 11: Independence Day

We had originally planned to go back to Magic Kingdom today - it would be busy, and eventually decided perhaps too busy as we would want to stay till the fireworks so would be a bit of a nightmare to get home. So thought it best to keep it more local today and head off to Island of Adventure for a second time round - which had cool rides like Spiderman and Harry Potter. Mum and Dad went off shopping again so just Ann, the kids and me this time.
Wanted to take along my new camera to give it a test drive only to realise there was a few scratches and lots of dust on the sensor! :O Made our way back to the mall where we got it, by taxi this time (as it was a holiday the buses appeared to be running quite infrequently, if at all). Our taxi driver Remy sounded like Jar Jar Binks but that was forgiven when he put the Legend album on. The shop didn’t have any other 5Ds though so had to get a refund and nowhere else stocked it :(
By the time we got back there wasnt much time to go anywhere else so chilled out for a bit and did a bit of hunting around locally in an attempt to source another camera before dinner.
Rock Lobster!
We had booked Boston Lobster Feast for tonight (or as Robert called it Bobster Lobster, which I think sounds better) - my mum and dad arent that into seafood though so they headed off somewhere else. It was pretty great, full seafood buffet including Whole Lobster, Snow Crab, Oysters Rockafeller, Southwest Mussels, Clams, Whole Prawns, Tuna Steak… well you get the idea. If you like seafood this is pretty much where you wanna be. Had two full boiled lobsters and lots of other shellfish shaped things. The boys didn’t have that much, Patrick loves sushi but they didn’t have ‘the kind’ he liked and Robert, well Roberts a plain Mac n Cheese man (though he did have some smoked salmon with his jelly - yeah you read that right). The star of the show was Grace who devoured tonnes of prawns, crab legs and lobster - so I think we have another Patrick on our hands.
This is Lisa the Lobster, she was lovely… ;)
We’ll two days left, so getting really close now :| Not too much Independency things going on today I know but we’ve got Epcot tomorrow and staying till the fireworks show so hopefully a little more exciting than today.
