Day 11 - Independence Day!

Not much happening today (except for the obvious celebration of Independence of the USA from The British Empire), so Ill keep it short so as not to bore you (and will skip on the TLDR if you don’t mind too).

Most parks are pretty packed today so we decided to skip them entirely and hit the shops early to grab some bargains. I got some trainees in Nike, while the rest of the family picked up some Converse next door (I have a pair that I bought last time which I haven’t even had on yet so I was set). Levis for jeans. Gap for hoodies. And picked up some other odds and ends and the kids got to spend some of their hard saved money too (though Grace has pretty much spent all hers). We also hit Bed, Bath & Beyond, where I picked up my well-used travel cup last time and I managed to get two more - Batman and Harley (would you expect anything else by now?). Also managed to find a micro Star Wars kite of the freakin; Millennium Falcon for ummm the boys - that is gonna be pretty sweet!

Home with all the shopping to realize we might have bought a little too much, so will definitely only be buying essentials now - though after today we shouldn’t really need to get much more. Quick change and out for dinner with the parents. As there was no photos taken today, I’ll leave you with a photo of Grace and her new Furby friends, including the one that was delivered and picked up just this morning: FURBACCA… RWARRRRRR!
