Day 15; R&R… &R

No summary today as it’s a day of rest and recuperation which has been desperately needed - we had toyed with getting up early to try a Virtual Queue for Tianas but I think we needed the sleep more and besides we can try for Tianas on Wed when we’re next back at Magic Kingdom.
So what do we do on a day off? We go shopping (hence the third R, Retail 🤷🏻♂️). This time at the other outlets we haven’t been to yet.
We’d ran out of water which meant no coffee this morning so since I was up and ready first I went over to the local Walgreens to pick up some water. And well since it was just for coffee anyway I swung by Smooth Java Cafe on my way back and pick up Starbucks for the whole fam. I can always remember my dad going to Dunkin’s to get coffees in the morning when I was wee, so did my good dad deed for the day.
So the rest of them got ready and we headed out to the Premium Outlets at Vineland. Or so we thought. Siobhan decided we needed to visited the Ritz Carlton instead. Hmmm. So asked Siobhan again and used Apple Maps as backup to go to the actual outlets and this time it was fine, only cost us and extra 25 minutes.
Spend a few hours touring around the shops, got some trainers at Adidas, jeans at Levis, and more trainers at Adidas. Not just for me I may add, just summarising here. Lots more designer shops here which we had little intention of going in to though Grace did get her SECOND Loungefly at the Disney store (told you it was gonna be a thing), though it was Mando and Baby Yoda on the outside so she was given a by. Also got another piece of Project Rock merch in the form of a hat (not that I need one).
We ‘d had no dinner and talked about getting a snack but then decided just to drop the shopping off at the hotel and head to Outback - our first proper steakhouse - the home of the infamous Blooming Onion! We decided to walk so we could get a few drinks and although it was a little further away we hadn’t really got many steps In today.
Blooming Onion ordered as a starter along with a Spicy Mango’rita for me and a Pina Koala (it’s an Australian themed restaurant) for Ann. My cocktail was amazing, probably the best I’ve had this holiday - it was full of chillies but not too hot, would definitely order this again in a heartbeat. Ann’s was nice too but somewhat strong for her so I got that one as well. She did order another which was a little more to her liking as well a flight of mini cocktails served in a boomerang which we probably should just have started with because they were great too tbh. Once the onion was done with, it was steak time. Robert, Patrick and Ann an ordered a 22oz Porterhouse 😬 Ann normally goes for a filet but the one they offered had lot of trimmings she didn’t want, so the Porterhouse it was… with a side of sweet potato and a huge bowl of French onion soup! Oh dear. I opted for the slightly less huge 18oz bone in rib-eye with pecan salad and baked potato. It was amazing all of it but really struggled to finish it all. Grace only had some starters instead of a main and she couldn’t manage a full steak but she still ended up taking some of it home. As did Ann - just so much food to manage. The boys polished off their steaks fine (and even managed a dessert between them).
Grateful of the walk back home after that and jumped in the pool for the last hour to cool down and throw the ball around with the kids. Tomorrow with be an early start and a busier day so an early-ish night is in order. And no photos to speak of today so included a picture of the Orlando Eye as we walked past it tonight, will do better at our Epcot/Animal Kingdom Wash up tomorrow.
